Paul Wunderlich

Paul Wunderlich, born in Eberswalde in 1927, is one of the most important surrealists of his time. His works, characterized by subtle eroticism and mythological influences, create a distinctive world in which human figures are given a special, almost alien physiognomy. Wunderlich's work, which is represented in the world's major museums, remains unique to this day.
