Eduardo Arroyo, born in Madrid in 1937, was a key figure in Narrative Figuration and known for his sharp criticism of the Franco regime. In 1958 he went into exile in Paris, which had a strong influence on his art. His works, influenced by political engagement, pop culture and satirical narrative, are characterized by vibrant colors and clear forms. In addition to painting, Arroyo also worked as a stage designer and author.
