Tonderai Mujuru
Tonderai Mujuru is a contemporary artist from Zimbabwe whose work combines art, conservation, and social engagement. With striking depictions of African wildlife—from lions to elephants—he not only captures the beauty of nature but also calls for the protection of biodiversity and Africa's cultural roots. Growing up in the Zimbabwean countryside, Tonderai draws his inspiration from the close connection between people, nature, and tradition. His paintings tell stories of change, heritage, and the responsibility of each individual. In addition to his art, he is actively involved in his community: he founded a clinic in his home region and supports young talent through the Swiss-Zimbabwe Heritage Gallery. His works have been shown in Harare, Chongqing, Dubai, and Zurich—an expression of an art that connects and moves people.
