The artist lives and works in Kiev. He is a member of the „National Artists Union of Ukraine “and of the „Society for Art of Imagination“ under the honorary presidency of Professor Ernst Fuchs. Furthermore he is one of the central personalities of the creative group „The Golden Gate “, which was founded 1997 in Kiev.

In his work Igor Grechanyk combines fantastic mystical worlds with symbolist traditions. Owing to his completed technology he creates objects in the area of conflict of female beauty and pure strength, energy and dynamics.
