Guan Qi-jun

The artist lives and works in Shanghai, China. He is a member of various institutions, including President of the International Famous Artists Union of Canada. Guan Qijun's works resurrect the classic characters of Beijing Opera and play with the concept of space and time to create a new visual dimension. The artist combines the thousand-year tradition of Chinese painting and opera with a unique, new form of representation, which gives the recipient very special access to his works. The intensity of the colors and especially the gold tones give the images their enormous expressiveness.
